Shri Sangameshwar Education Society is a registered body, under Public Trust Act1950 and Society Registration Act 1960. As per the provision of the Constitution and Rules of the Society ,the college is governed by the Management Council, within the frame work of Shivaji University Act, 1974 and Maharashtra University Act 1994. The Managing Council forms the policies and the same is implemented by the Principal. As per provisions of the Maharashtra University Act 1994,Local Managing Committee has been working .This committee has three teaching and one non- teaching staff plus members of the Management, Principal being the Secretary. It is a statutory body. A ‘Backward Class Cell’ has been formed to look into the matters of the backward class students, teaching and non- teaching staff . This is another statutory body. Anti Sexual Harassment Committee looks into the issues of girls from sexual harassment point of view tries to give them protection and strives to make their life save and secure. Recently ‘Students Grievances Redressal Cell ‘has been formed in 2002. For the smooth and effective work, as many as thirty different committees have been formed by the Principal; prominent among them are: Admission Committee, Library Committee, Discipline Committee, Editorial Board of College Annual Maganize ‘Pradnya’, N.S.S. Committee, Annual Prize Distribution Committee, Time-Table and Work-Load Committee. Fees are charged according to the rules and regulation of Maharashtra Govt. and Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Credit Co-operative Society has been established by the members of the teaching and non-teaching staff, with the co-operation of the Management and Principal. While sanctioning the loan, Priority is given to medical purposes, education, housing, marriage etc The provision is also made for emergency loan. Group Saving Linked Insurance has been opted by the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. Within the framework of the provident fund Act,Loan can be obtained
