N. S. S. (National Service Scheme) :-
It gives an oppertunity to youth to build their personality through community service.It prmotes social consciousness, sense of responsibility, discipline and diginity of labour. Ours is one of the oldest units in the university. It is a unit of 200 volunteers. Different
projects & the annual camp are the special featurers. Blood donation camps, assiting local autorities in relif during natural calamities
are undertaken. Numbers of voluteers have attended different camps including Republic day celebration .
N. C. C. (National Cadet Corps) :-
It came into existance in July 1948, & at Sangmeshwar Collage in the year 1949 Since then it is an ingredient part of the college It bestows military traing, good character, idel leadership, tolerance and sacrifice. It can enroll 160 boys and 53 girls. Many cadets have outshone, and won different scholarship instituted by Govt. of Maharashtra & Sahara Group. Many students have attended republic day celebration.
